Edna Mildred Nutter

My mother Edna Mildred Nutter was in the first group of women trained at the RAF Blackpool School of Photography in 1941. In fact, as the youngest (18) she got the privilege of being the very first women to sign in. My father, George Howell Jones, trained there later and they met in Belgium during the war. (in a dark room!)

Sadly, both now deceased.

They met in a photographic darkroom in Belgium around 1943 and married at the end of the war.

I have some other photographs associated with my mother at the Blackpool school.
