George Marshall

Flight Sergeant (PPA) George Marshall, passed away in the early hours of 11th April 2019, after a long illness, bravely borne. George retired in January 1991.

John Gray – Sad news indeed. George and I served together at Coltishall 78/80, and he and Margaret were fully active members of our award-winning Theatre Club when I was Oic Theatre 101. This photo shows us buying moccasins in Tromso during a 41Sqn detachment.

George was a truly genuine top man, and my thoughts are with his family. RIP George.

Iain Trimble – George and Margaret were good friends over many years, Brampton, Episkopi, Wildenrath/Gutersloh and throughout the time we both lived in Peterborough and beyond. It is immensely sad to lose someone who never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Keith Morton – nicely put Ian, our Wildenrath and Gutersloh years were good and George really stood out despite his accident. A brave and kind man and he will be missed.
