Lynn Norman, (Middle row 2nd from right) ex-Photo G; 5 December 2020. I met her at 1982 TG14 reunion at Rheindahlen. She was then at either Bruggen or Wildenrath. I cannot remember to be honest but I know she was also stationed at Northolt & Coltishall, to name some postings. I very sadly heard of Lynne’s passing, via the Royal Air Force Gliding & Soaring Association FB group. I remember Lynn through gliding, which at one time was also a big part of my life. She was very actively involved with this sport, and was an instructor and an award-winning competition pilot. I remember Lynn’s amazing photos of a SAR unit at Coltishall, I think also with the local RNLI. She had the images published in a centre spread in RAF News; also produced into postcards. Blue skies Lynn, rest in peace. xx
Sad news RIP Lynn.

Lovely lady and will be sadly missed. Fly high Lynn RIP
How sad to hear of Lynn’s passing . She cant have been that old , as she was quite young with me at Bruggen. Great glider pilot.
RIP Lynn. I think Lynn had not long departed Brüggen when I took over from Don Lambert
in Jan ’86.
Lynn was a Cpl at Colt ground section when I was there in 86. RIP Lynn.

Very sad news RIP Lynn.
Such Sad news, I was very lucky to have worked with Lynn at Wyton as she was my 1st ever Corporal after leaving JSOP in 1989. She put me and Jimmy Gibbing’s through our TATS with flying colours. We had such a scream and many a drunken night too. I even persuaded her to play volleyball too. I can’t remember the amount of times we would lock the photo section with hangovers and hide. RIP Lynn x
Sore with the eagles Lynn x. Condolences to family and friends
